This Saturday, general entry will open for Ironman Australia/Ironman 70.3 Port Macquarie and Ironman New Zealand. Following the sell-out of Ironman Western Australia on Monday, interest in both events has intensified.

Ironman Western Australia 2010 Registrations Full - 05/01/2010
World Triathlon Corporation (WTC), owners of the Ironman and Ironman 70.3 brands, announced that the 2010 edition of Ironman Western Australia is sold out. Entries reached the maximum of 1,400 competitors early on the morning of April 27, 2010, more than nine weeks before the scheduled closing of entries.

Star-Studded Field Races St. Croix - UPDATED WITH PHOTOS - 05/01/2010
The St. Croix Ironman 70.3 does not have to do a lot to entice a phenomenal pro field each year. For 22 years virtually every major professional triathlete from Mike Pigg to Dave Scott to Karen Smyers and Mirinda Carfrae has raced on the island that can best be described as"paradise." The 22nd running of "The Beauty & The Beast" will be no different.

Weiss and Wurtele take Ford Ironman St. George - 05/01/2010
Michael Weiss became the first Austrian man to win an Ironman title, while Canadian Heather Wurtele claimed her second Ironman title as the two champions used dominating bike splits to claim the first Ford Ironman St. George event.

TYR and Chrissie Wellington Extend Sponsorship Deal - 05/01/2010

Bringing Ironman into focus for blind athletes - 05/01/2010
Seeing is believing - unless you are Mark Griffin. Born legally blind, this amateur triathlete from Chicago sees only a fraction of what a fully sighted person does. Yet, what Griffin lacks in vision, he makes up for in his beliefs. Among other things, he believes he can be successful in life without full sight.
